How quickly will I get my horn? Do you ship internationally?
At GetASax, we specialize in quick shipping. We will get your horn to you ASAP, often within 2-3 days of purchase. Horns ship out the day we receive payment or the next. International shipping takes longer, but we are experienced at international shipping and have never had a problem.
Is it risky to buy a saxophone from you?
There is little to no risk. This business lives or dies on its reputation. We will ship you the horn as described and it will be in great playing shape. We give full refunds for returns if you are unhappy with the horn for any reason. If a horn is damaged in shipping to you (hasn't happened yet), we will deal with the shipper and give you a refund. See our return policy.
How can I pay for my saxophone?
Buying your horn is a personal process, so when you pay, please take the following concerns into consideration. In order to keep our costs low, please consider using a payment method that does not charge us a 3+% fee, as these fees can run into the hundreds on the high-end horns. We accept cashier's check, money order, personal check, and bank wire. If you want to send payment by paper, consider sending it with FedEx Overnight, or USPS Express mail. This can be nearly as fast as electronic payment and helps us keep prices low. If you would like to use Paypal, consider Paypal E-Check, since you get the same protections (not that you will need them - see our return policy here) from Paypal without the high fees. If you must use a credit card, we accept those as well. Please be aware that a rewards credit card may charge us as high as 4-5% in fees.
Can you find a specific make/model of horn for me?
Contact us through the contact form and we will do our very best!
Can I sell/trade my saxophone to you?
If your saxophone is one that we are interested in, we will make you our best offer for it. See the following link [Sell your horn]
I am interested in buying a student line saxophone. Do you have any?
Please see our guide: Buying a saxophone for your student and contact us. We may have something to sell that is not on the site.
What is the "fixer-upper" category of your store for?
"Fixer-Upper" horns are super deals on horns that either need some work, or play great, but have some non-original parts. We offer these horns because we are interested in seeing good playing horns get played, and because we know that there are people out there who want them. A classic example is a saxophone that has no neckpiece, or that has a non-original neck. Maybe you have an original neck lying around and can make a matching set. These horns may play very well, but they are not the kind of horn that we want to stake our reputation on, so we sell them as fixer-uppers. If you want to return a fixer-upper, we will do our best to work with you, but we cannot guarantee this unconditionally, since these horns are sold "as is".
