Brian,
I had a chance, finally, to play the horn last night. Wow! The horn's performance certainly lives up to its reputation. I'm sure I'll discover much more about it as I work with it, but it is certainly a free-blowing instrument that allows for expressive gestures with very, very little effort. I pleased beyond words. Thanks again for all your help in getting this great horn in my hands.

Double dose of Dukoff

As one who was almost terminally soured on metal mouthpieces (having tried everything old and new), I'm still not certain how my website-hopping led me to Brian's site, but the photos and descriptions of his supply of Dukoff tenor pieces had me salivating again over the possibility that I might in fact find that elusive metal sound (think Dexter, Coltrane, Potter, Alexander) that most saxophonists covet. If what Brian has left for mouthpieces is anything like the two units he sent to me for trial (and I'm betting that they are), then it is clear that he is ONLY interested in selling quality saxophone products. The two Dukoffs were so perfectly suited to my playing (so very close to my sound-ideal/feel-ide al) that I couldn't choose between the two - and so kept them both. And Brian was more than helpful in our negotiations. I've placed his website high on my Bookmarks list so that, when another sax need arises, I'll remember to go to Brian first.

Get A Sax - So Much More

I have been playing my grade school Martin Indiana alto sax off and on since 1974l. I wanted to reward myself with an upgrade but had no idea how to take the "next step" until someone recommended Brian's Get A Sax website. I constantly reviewed his site and researched all his listings and found a Bauhaus Walstein alto sax that was perfect for me. The sax matched Brian's description exactly, it was shipped the same day as he recieved my check and there was no skimping on the packaging. In addition I was notified by Brian the day it was to ship that the zipper on the case had broken and all I asked was to send a case that was similiar......he sent the sax in a brand new case.....Get A Sax is all about over servicing, they have a customer for life in me.

Just as quick note to say how pleased I am with the soprano I bought here last week. Several reasons come to mind: very accurate description of the horn, high-quality pictures, meticulous packing, and a fair price for a hard-to-find horn that plays fabulously right out of the box. Mouthpieces

After 40 years I am again playing the sax. Bought a Yamaha 52 tenor from Get A Sax and it was in great shape. Brian also helped me select the perfect mouthpiece for my style and sound. After explaining what I was looking for Brian suggested two different mouthpieces and they were both perfect. One for a nice dark tone,a nd one that has a sound that is a little brighter. Brian is great to work with and I have loved my experience with Get A Sax. Brian takes an exceptional interest in making sure that I find what I need and that I am satisfied with the product. His prices are extremely competitive and the quality of his work and product is beyond compare. I would recommend Brian and Get A Sax to anyone out there.

The only guy from whom to buy or sell a sax!

As a commercial real estate broker for 35 years, I'm used to negotiating with the "Donald Trumps" of the world. And so when I approached selling my 2 saxes that have not been played for decades, I knew I was entering an unfamiliar world of pricing and business ethics.
I temporarily avoiding local stores and researched the internet thorougly for hours, finding much useful pricing information, to my surprise . getAsax.com was one of three businesses I pursued. In summary, Brian stood way above the other two. His low overhead operation and knowledge of saxes resulted in the prices he offered me to be considerably more than offers from the other two businesses. And through his honest discussion of how he will price both saxes, I feel he ended up being just as much a winner as I surely did. Payment and shipping were handled very professionally, as well.
