Selmer Mark VI Soprano Saxophone
This is a rare, American-engraved Selmer Mark VI Soprano saxophone SN# 84xxx. It was a one-owner horn, and it was never relacquered, but the original lacquer was stripped, and the horn was gold-plated in the 1970's and then played very little after that. I was thinking of keeping this horn for my collection, but after going around and around about it, at the end of the day I find myself playing modern sopranos. It's in good playing condition, and it comes with the original case as well. There are not many of these super-desirable 5-digit, American-engraved sopranos out there, and they are very collectible and also have a uniquely dark, complex tone that is like no other.
