Beechler Vintage 3S Tenor Hard Rubber 5 tip MPC260

$ 100

If you are looking for a jazzy sounding hard rubber mouthpiece that is at a smaller, more comfortable tip opening for people who don’t play tenor all the time, this would be a good fit. It’s also an interesting piece if you collect mouthpieces, because I haven’t seen an early one like this before.

Description

If you are looking for a jazzy sounding hard rubber mouthpiece that is at a smaller, more comfortable tip opening for people who don’t play tenor all the time, this would be a good fit. It’s also an interesting piece if you collect mouthpieces, because I haven’t seen an early one like this before. It has a small chamber, just a bit of baffle and straight side walls. The tip measures .081″ which is about a modern 5 and comfortable for section playing, school band, or just anyone who wants an easy to play tenor piece. The hard rubber is oxidized which just means that it’s high-quality hard rubber. There are some ligature scratches on the back of the body, but the table, tip and rails look good, with only one small nick in one rail visible.
