This is one of the nicest vintage Buffets that I have seen, and certainly the nicest SDA alto that has come in in a year or so. It still plays well on a mix of older and newer pads and has just been put into good playing condition. It plays nicely with a big, warm French core to the tone. It is Selmer-like, but with a bigger sound overall and with lots of power. It is medium bright and open with a nice complex core and quite a bit of power. This horn will literally do it all. Original case also near mint condition.

This is one of the nicest vintage Buffets that I have seen, and certainly the nicest SDA alto that has come in in a year or so. The only cosmetic wear is just a few little spots in a couple of places that you can see in the pictures.
It still plays well on a mix of older and newer pads and has just been put into good playing condition. It plays nicely with a big, warm French core to the tone.
