This is a very clean relacquered Buffet Super Dynaction alto that plays well too. SDA’s have a big sound with a French core – lyrical, complex, medium between bright and dark. This horn also has good ergonomics and good intonation. It would work equally well for classical or jazz just depending on which mouthpiece you use. It ships in a nice aftermarket case that will protect the horn well.

This is a very clean relacquered Buffet Super Dynaction alto that plays well too. It is in nice clean physical condition with no dents or dings or past repairs. The original neck looks good as well. You would hardly know that this horn had been relacquered, except for some slight fading of the finest engraving on the front of the bottom bow. It was probably done by the factory based on what I know of its history (the prior owner had his Buffet tenor redone at the Buffet factory, and this alto looks identical.) The pads are sealing well, and the horn plays great as is. SDA’s have a big sound with a French core – lyrical, complex, medium between bright and dark. This horn also has good ergonomics and good intonation. It would work equally well for classical or jazz just depending on which mouthpiece you use. It ships in a nice aftermarket case that will protect the horn well.
