Description
Handmade Guardala soprano mouthpiece with Guardala DG engraving on the shank and a 3 digit serial (I think it says ‘497’). Looks like either a Michael Brecker or a Studio baffle configuration. Nice original gold plate, and a ligature that fits as well! Tip opening measures .073, so it is nice and open for the pro soprano player to get good projection for pop, rock, and smooth jazz playing settings. The nice thing about the Guardalas is that while they are crisp and projecting, they retain warmth and a round tone that many brighter pieces lack. It’s very rare to find such a nice example of a handmade soprano mouthpiece.
