This horn is in good mechanical condition and has original lacquer. It is a low Bb bari that makes it lighter and more free blowing (less stuffy) that the Low A VI baris are. The 108xxx serial is in the very best range for the VI horns as far as build quality and tone goes (My favorites for tone have been 70k-110k so far). I am listing it as-is for the present. It has some posts that have been resoldered, and there has been some dent work in the bow area and on the upper bow as well. If you would like to buy it as-is please contact me ASAP, because I am planning to strip the remaining lacquer and get this horn fully overhauled. In bare brass with no dents and brand new pads, it should be really amazing. But if you want to buy it now and get it for less money and do some or all of this work elsewhere, I am open to offers. This is a great price for this horn.
