This is an original lacquer Selmer Mark VI SN# 219xxx with a medium bright tone and a recent repad done by Perry Ritter in NYC. It plays well and the pads feel good under the fingers. The tone is classic Mark VI, and the horn has a nice overall sound with an even scale. The lacquer is about 85%, and the neck has been pulled down and repaired. It’s a nice original lacquer VI for a good price. If you’ve been wanting to get a good playing, original lacquer VI, but you wanted to stay around $4k, this would be a very good option for you.
