This is an original Selmer Modele 26 alto saxophone in gold plate. This horn has had a little bit of hand polishing but it will look much better with a disassembly and full cleaning. The engraving is ornate and includes a little dragon to the right of the Selmer logo. The gold plate on this horn is almost all there, and there are no dents or dings or past repairs. This horn has old pads and needs a repad to play well, but many people will want it for its collectibility alone, so I will leave it as is for now. It ships in an old Selmer Paris case which may be the original case, and which is in good condition.
