Here is an excellent condition Reference 54 alto from Selmer Paris. It comes the original BAM Selmer case. This horn is in beautiful shape with gorgeous engraving and lacquer, and the tone really is reminiscent of the Mark VI vibe. Intonation and ergonomics are modern and better than a VI, so it’s a great horn for a whole range of people interested in a pro alto. There’s a good reason that these horns are so popular! They have the best tone of any of the modern Selmers (in my opinion).

This horn is in beautiful shape with gorgeous engraving and lacquer, and the tone really is reminiscent of the Mark VI vibe. This horn has not been played much, and the pads are in the same kind of condition as a new Reference 54 alto would be. There is a tiny scratch on the neck, and that’s about it for cosmetic blemishes on this horn. It looks pretty much like a new saxophone. This is a turn-key purchase on a beautiful near mint Reference 54 alto for way less than the price of a new one.
