It has gotten quite difficult to find a nearly pristine Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor these days. There aren’t that many left that are this nice, and there are a LOT of folks hunting for one that is truly in great shape. The only past repair on this horn I posted an extreme close up of. The little guard by the thumb hook that is by the chromatic F# has been resoldered. It didn’t really burn the lacquer, so it doesn’t show much at all.
As for the rest of the details, the neck is in gorgeous shape, not damaged at all or pulled down. The neck has the matching serial number to the body. This horn is American-engraved and lacquered. The lacquer is of course original. The pads are original too. This horn has not been messed with at all. It has its original factory setup still intact, and I’m leaving it original. But if you want to get it overhauled through GetASax, I can pair you with one of my favorite saxophone techs and get the pads replaced if you want.
This comes with your choice of BAM case: Cabine (delightfully slim) or Softpack (slightly more storage) are both great.
