Mildly scooped sidewalls, a long 2 stage rollover baffle, medium chamber, and a tip opening of 0.085″. A fresh reface by Erik Greiffenhagen makes this better than new. Bright tone and great projection, but not as edgy as a sharp edge high baffle piece. If you love the blue Vandoren A45 Java and Jumbo Java alto mouthpieces, but you want one for less money, or if you just want a really good bright alto piece for a commercial or smooth jazz alto sound, this is it.
