Here is an excellent condition example of a (lightly) used Yamaha 675 soprano sax. This horn has almost no lacquer wear, with one spot of scratches on the bell, no dents or dings or past repairs. It looks great and plays great right out of the case. The 675 is an excellent professional soprano, and it sounds virtually the same as the more expensive 875 version of Yamaha’s custom line. This horn has two necks, straight and curved, and both necks are also in excellent condition. (I think I have the little plastic yamaha emblem around here somewhere!) It ships in the original case which is also in great shape.
If you are getting into soprano sax for the first time, or moving up from a cheaper horn to something good, then the Yamaha 675 sopranos are the perfect choice. They are very well built, professional instruments, and they are reasonably priced. They are very easy to play for non-soprano-experts, and they tune easily.
This particular horn has a rich, full tone that is round and clear. It works great with most any mouthpiece. It is a fun sax to play, and the response is especially notable. Intonation and ergonomics are of course excellent too.
This is a turn key purchase for a beautiful, well-made soprano saxophone. Get it now – there’s only one available!
