This is a beautiful example of a modern Selmer that I don't see coming up very often for sale (probably because people are keeping them and playing them!). It's a Selmer Series III tenor saxophone from Selmer Paris, and it comes with both the original neck and a TM Custom neck in silver plated brass. The TM neck makes this sound more like a vintage Selmer (that neck is modeled on a 57xxx Mark VI tenor neck last I checked). The original neck feels more focused and polite, and is better for concert band/classical. They make a nice contrast. This horn has nearly no wear since new, and is in excellent condition with no dents or dings or past repairs. The original Pisoni Italian leather pads are still in excellent condition and are sealing well. If you want a modern Selmer Paris in excellent condition that does everything pretty well and has a pleasant, medium bright, round tone with a lyrical 'French' core, that's what this is. It's also a massively good deal compared to buying a new Selmer. You save the depreciation and are into the horn for just about what you could also sell it for if you ever want to. This is the way.
