This is one of those super-rare, near mint examples of a King Saxello. This piece includes a near mint original case, the original triangular stand and neckstrap. The horn itself has no damage and no past repairs. This horn also has a recent overhaul and plays GREAT – much more in tune than most Saxellos (this is one of the good ones). The previous owner of this horn plays sax professionally, and he has owned at least ten Saxellos (Saxelli?), and this is by far the best player of the ten, according to him.
The original silver is almost all intact, and the horn just looks great. I’m pretty tempted to keep this horn, so if it suddenly disappears, you’ll know why. It’s one of the best vintage sopranos that I’ve played!
