Martin ‘The Martin Alto’ 169xxx Mint Condition

This is a mint, like new The Martin Alto, in super-collectible, nearly pristine, if not pristine condition. I have this in my collection.  I think it is among the nicest ones of these horns in the world. The case is also almost new and the case includes a clarinet for decoration. I love how these horns sound, and with a properly setup LH pinky cluster, they also play very very well – quick action, great feel, great intonation. But this is one to treasure. It actually looks even better in person than in the photos. The price includes a new ProTec case as well, so that I can ship you the horn and the case in two shipments to keep everything as perfect as possible.

You will really be astounded by the level of design thought that went into these horns. They are modern in every way – the saxophone equivalent of classic American cars from the 40’s-50’s. The build quality is also as good as anything ever made. This horn came with a 50(!) year warranty when it was new. Can you think of anything made today that comes with that kind of warranty? This is Martin’s top of the line saxophone, and one of the finest American saxophones ever made. I doubt that I will ever get another one quite this nice.
