Olds Opera Buffet Dynaction Tenor Near Mint

This is a remarkably well-preserved example of my favorite Buffet tenor for tone. The Buffet Dynaction is warmer and more ‘woody’ sounding than the SDA and S1, and reminds me more of a Selmer SBA or even BA. This one is in completely original condition, including original pads, so it would need to get repadded soon. It will be an easy job though, because it’s nearly in showroom condition. I’m actually tempted to keep it myself for my collection, as it’s the nicest one I’ve seen. Serial is 4176 from 1955.
