Ishimori New Vintage WSA-AF with High F# Alto Cool Patina! Store Demo 664

This is a new Ishimori New Vintage alto, but we used it to make the GetASax YouTube videos about the Ishimori alto and the GS New York alto mouthpiece. It has the beginnings of a nice patina on the ‘antique finish’ from being used for those videos, and it’s clear that it will continue to patina beautifully. These altos have a big, open-throated sound that combines the upper register fullness of a vintage American alto with the intonation of a modern horn and a Selmer-ish middle and low register.
