The Lyon and Healy Semi-curved soprano is a collector’s treasure. Extremely rare and extremely hard-to-find, I did not expect ever to see one. And this may be the nicest one in the world. It is in near mint condition with virtually all of the original silver intact. It has all original white pads. It includes the original mouthpiece, ligature and cap. It has the original warranty card!!! There is even a Lyon and Healy paper reed case and probably the original neckstrap. The joint where the neck attaches was getting weak, so I had Matt Stohrer carefully resolder it. But he did such a good job that it is nearly invisible, and it could not have been done better. It also includes the beautiful original case with hot pink velvet lining, and the original silver-plated lyre is in there also. It would be easy to disassemble and polish this horn so that it looked brand new, but I wanted to just leave it original. For a collector, this is hard to beat.
