Here is one of my favorite horns in stock right now, and one that would be the jewel of many a Conn saxophone collection. It is a rare transitional art deco curved soprano in near mint condition. I have seen two of these horns come up for sale in the past 5 years, and both were pretty worn. This one is really near mint. The serial is 220xxx, but Conn sopranos serials are all over the place, as you can tell, since the horn has 240xxx-250xxx engraving. It is easily one of the nicest examples of this super-rare saxophone that exists. Whether you are a serious collector or a soprano player in search of a unique and uniquely-great horn, this would be hard to beat.

The price includes an upcoming overhaul by Matt Stoher. It was clear from just playing it on the original pads that this horn has a sound that is much bigger, more open, and warmer than any modern curved soprano. The intonation was surprisingly good as well.
