Tip opening measures 0.067″ This mouthpiece plays surprisingly well if you are looking for a good value modern C* for general use. This is not stuffy like some S80’s, but is definitely a dark mellow sound with moderate projection. If you have to buy one of these for school wind ensemble, this one is better than most new ones and a lot less expensive.
