Selmer Vintage Metal E Tenor – Early “Jazz” model?

This mouthpiece is SOLD, but to find mouthpieces in stock, please go to the following link: https://www.getasax.com/mouthpieces/

This is a Selmer Short Shank Metal E. It has a .089 tip opening, a small/medium round chamber, fluted sides, and not much baffle. This piece will polish up nicely, and it plays very well. It comes with the ligature and cap. This is the early Selmer metal tenor piece that later became the “Jazz” model. These pieces have a dedicated following and do play quite well – much darker than you might expect, if you automatically think metal=bright.
