Description
This is a beautiful Steve Broadus S3 vintage tenor piece that Brian Powell opened up to a .100. These mouthpieces were designed to come with high end Martin saxophones, and they are very nice, slant-like pieces that deserve to be more widely known. It has a slight rollover baffle, curved side walls, and a large round chamber. There are a few scratches here and there but this piece is in great condition. If you like the sound of a vintage Slant or Reso Chamber tenor, but you are on a budget, this piece is a great option. Many of the vintage hard rubber pieces on the site (Broadus, Woodwind Company, Geo M Bundy, Selmer Elkhart etc) are here just so that players who have a tighter budget can get a great piece that plays very much like the higher-dollar pieces and has a superb facing, but for less money.
